MULCH ORDERS DUE APRIL 5TH! The AHS All Night Grad Committee is having a mulch sale to help fund this year’s celebration.  A 3-cubic foot bag is only $4.50 if you pick it up; only $5.00 delivered to your driveway!  Please make checks payable to AHS-PTSA/ANGC, or if you prefer to pay by credit or debit card please order online at http://www.annandalehsptsa.org/committees/angp/mulch.html.  Self pick up at Annandale High School is on Saturday, April 10 between 8 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.  All orders must be paid in advance.  Volunteers are also needed on Saturday, April 10 beginning at 7:00 a.m.  If you have a truck, trailer or SUV and would like to help with mulch deliveries, please let us know you are more than welcome!  For questions or to volunteer, please email Shelli Wayland at shelli.wayland@fcps.edu.  Mail orders with payment to All Night Graduation Celebration, c/o Annandale High School, 4700 Medford Drive, Annandale, VA  22003, Attention:  Mulch Fundraiser.

All Night Grad Celebration (ANGC) Coordination Meeting is scheduled for Monday, March 22, at 7:00 pm in Clausen Hall.  This year's ANGC is on Thursday, June 17, at Audrey Moore Recreational Center.  We are still looking for volunteers to help us provide a safe, chaperoned, and fun-filled event for our graduating seniors.  We have lots of different jobs and you can work all night or only a few hours.  If you are interested in volunteering please contact Mary Kay Ippolito at ippolitomk@aol.com or (703) 658-1737.  

BATTLE OF THE BANDS COMING SOON! The PTSA is looking for bands to play at the second annual Battle of Bands on Friday, April 9. Bands must have at least one AHS student, alumni or parent. If you are interested in playing (or volunteering to help), please contact Kathie Turner by email at Katherine.Turner@Inova.org or by phone at 703-944-6068.

PRINCESS FOR A NIGHT.  The Annandale Community Center needs volunteers for our annual Princess for a night event, providing donated prom dresses to girls who cannot otherwise afford them.  In order to make this event successful we need many volunteers to sort & organize dresses, volunteers with SUV’s to help transport racks and dresses, help for the girls selecting their dresses during the week of May 7th and a coordinator to help organize the event. ¡LAS ORDENES DE MULCH SE RECIBEN HASTA EL 5 DE ABRIL! Asista a la reunión de coordinación de la Noche de Celebración de los Graduados (All Night Grad) el lunes 22 de marzo, a las 7:00 P.M. en Clausen Hall.  Este año la noche de celebración será el jueves 17 de junio, en el centro recreacional de Audrey Moore.  Todavía estamos buscando a voluntarios que nos ayuden a proporcionar una noche segura, vigilada y llena de diversión para nuestros seniors que se gradúan.  Tenemos diversos trabajos y usted puede trabajar toda la noche o solamente algunas horas.  Si usted está interesado en participar por favor contacte a Maria Kay Ippolito en ippolitomk@aol.com o (703) 658-1737.  

YA VIENE LA BATALLA DE LAS BANDAS!  La PTSA está buscando bandas musicales para participar en la segunda batalla anual de bandas el viernes 9 de abril. Las bandas deben tener por lo menos un estudiante de AHS, como también ex - alumnos y/o padres de AHS. Si usted está interesado en participar (u ofrecerse voluntariamente a ayudar), entre en contacto con Kathie Turner por email a Katherine.Turner@Inova.org o por el teléfono al 703-944-6068.  

PRINCESA FOR A NIGHT.  El centro comunitario de Annandale necesita voluntarios para nuestro evento anual “Princesa por una Noche”, donando vestidos para la Noche de Prom para las estudiantes que no tienen medios económicos para adquirir un vestido.  Para garantizar el éxito del evento, necesitamos de muchos voluntarios para clasificar y organizar los vestidos, voluntarios con SUV para ayudar a transportar los estantes y los vestidos, ayudar a las estudiantes a seleccionan sus vestidos durante la semana del 7 de mayo y también necesitamos de un coordinador para ayudar a organizar el evento.  Podemos encontrar un trabajo que se acomode a sus horas y disponibilidad.  Por favor contacte Chris Gokturk en  cgokturk@aol.com

LISTO a GOLFEAR en NOMBRE DE AHS?  La propaganda del Clásico Anual de Golf Rojo y Blanco  (Annual Red& White Golf ) ya ha sido enviada a las familias de AHS motivándolas a tomar el desafío el 7 de mayo y ayudarnos a colectar por encima de $16.000 para apoyar la AHS.  Estamos contando con que muchos voluntarios, patrocinadores, golfistas, y donantes nos ayudaran a hacer de este acontecimiento nuestro colector de fondos (fundraiser) más grande del año.  ¡Le necesitamos!  Todos los detalles están disponibles en nuestro Web site en: http://www.annandalehsptsa.org/committees/fundraising/golfclassic.htm
